Service Description

MusikLab60 In-Person is the full experience of learning face to face. Listening to you directly, observing your posture, and helping you in the moment makes a clear difference: the personal contact makes the lesson close, natural, and effective. My way of teaching is simple: playing the flute well does not start directly with playing, but with good preparation and a clear idea of the goal we want to achieve. Before blowing the first note, we take a conscious moment to breathe in a relaxed way and prepare the body properly. From there, we go after the sound we like and work to achieve it. It is not about controlling every gesture or becoming obsessed with technique, but about keeping the goal in mind: making music and finding our own sound. I strongly believe in using common sense and intuition, trusting in what we feel and hear, without the need to overanalyze every step when playing the instrument. Each student is different, and that is why every lesson is different as well. If you are just starting out, we will learn the basics together in a comfortable and natural way. If you already have experience, we will focus on making what seems difficult simpler, finding clear solutions that help you enjoy more and strengthen your own interpretation and technique with the instrument. In-person lessons usually take place in Essen-Werden. If you prefer me to travel to your home, I apply a transportation fee depending on the distance, which we always agree upon before confirming the booking.
