The band Queen and their hits can be described in one word: legendary. Freddie Mercury and company were one of the most successful bands in the world. And even nearly 40 years after their last performance, Queen’s songs can still be heard everywhere. And the legend lives on: in “MiR goes Glam-Rock”, General Music Director Rasmus Baumann and the New Philharmonic Westphalia bring Queen’s glam rock back to the stage. Orchestra, band, and soloists present the greatest hits of the British rock band, from “Bohemian Rhapsody” to “We Will Rock You”, in lavish arrangements. Also appearing are stars such as Henrik Wager, Alex Melcher, and Viviane Essig. Who could possibly stay seated?
